Training and development is an area of high importance with our company and we are working with our own experienced training consultants to ensure regular up-to-date evidence-based training is available to all staff.
TSD will lead you through a number of training sessions and practical activities designed specifically to give you the skills and knowledge to ensure that you are happy and confident in your role. When you complete the training with our registered and experienced onsite nurses or healthcare workers, you will have a really good understanding of what your role is and will be ready for your first client placement.
We will support you through your learning, including the completion of the Prevention of Management of Violence training, CPD Certification and other trainings:

• Role as a healthcare worker, your duties, responsibilities and how to deliver them
• Personal care and Medication
• Food Hygiene
• Health and Safety
• First Aid
• Abuse and safeguarding
• Dementia Awareness

Our training and induction week will be designed to make sure that everyone gets involved and has the opportunity to ask as many questions as they need to, as there will be one-on-one support. This is also a good opportunity to meet other members or workers.
At TSD ongoing training and career development are central to what we do, we value every member of staff and believe they are important to the success of the company. Following completion of our Induction package you will be placed on a bespoke training plan.
Ongoing training will assist you in developing your skills to improve in your role whilst helping you achieve your career goals. Personal development and training needs will be reviewed and discussed through annual appraisals and regular supervision meetings.
